Because why go to the gym if you can't immediately undo all that work with takeout? Brisket and flank pho and the last bottle of my '13 Tripel. Definitely a different beer now than when it was fresh.

Just weighed 70lbs of grain. About to spend 30 minutes crushing it. Fun.

I only do 5.5gal batches, but I still insist on hand-milling all my grains. I actually have a radio interview with SWMBO (its how i met her) where she asks if I could motorize it. I go "yeah, but this way, I can say my beer is artisanal and hand-made. Probably start selling it for a premium"

All it likely does is get a few of my thick ass Asian hairs in the grain bucket

I lied. Just spent 30 minutes weighing out 12 oz of hops and all the water minerals.

Hopefully you're not on a Corona mill. Then it'd take you 30 mins to crush 7 lbs.

haha nah, i have a barley crusher

I used to hand mill, then i wised up. More than a 15 or so lb grist just got way too timely and annoying to funk with. I cant imagine how long 70 lbs would take!

You got to train like this guy. 70lbs in 30sec..

I wish i could mill that fast!

Finally caught up... Good god, you ladies were chatty today. A few home brews and a few commercial beers drank, and a ton of **** accomplished around the house.
