Dafuq? How does that even physically work?

Double jointed I'm assuming?

Also I had no idea either that Niagra could be shut off at will.

Also you folks have been having fun all morning it seems.

Federal government seems to be opening noonish for the first time since Friday when it closed at noon. Sh*tshow doesn't even begin to describe the traffic today.

Its not that they are shutting it off, gang. They are going to redirect the water flow to the Canadian Side. Most of the water goes there anyway, they would have to build a coffer dam as a temporary solution so they can get the supports to anchor to bedrock and would require dry ground to do so.
Sheesh, do you people even science?

I science every day. I just assume a giant hose bib was involved. Perhaps an epically large wrench.

We don't want your dirty yankee water. Redirect that ish to Flint, where they need it.

I have. Do it. All my malty beers has MO base. no questions asked

I already have the bag and was planning on it, just didnt know who all had experience with it. Glad to hear that! My last couple RIS have turned out too thin and this time I wont be taking any chances. I want huge mouthfeel! Here is the recipe for what I'm brewing Saturday. Kind of BCBS based. Using 1450 on it though.

45 lb - United Kingdom - Maris Otter Pale (59.4%)
12 lb - American - Munich - Light 10L (15.8%)
3 lb - American - Chocolate (4%)
3 lb - American - Caramel / Crystal 60L (4%)
3 lb - American - Roasted Barley (4%)
2 lb - Flaked Oats (2.6%)
2 lb - Finland - Black Malt (2.6%)
5 lb - Dry Malt Extract - Light (6.6%)
12 oz - German - Acidulated Malt (1%)

Big batches totally mess my head up. That's like five more grains than I've ever used in one batch though. Not that I've brewed an RIS yet. I think I'm gonna.

Only the ones going into Mexico... those lines aren't real long.

Coming from Canada into the US they can back up for a couple of miles

Did you see the KBS clone recipe on AHA today?

I prefer Norwegian Black Malt actually.

DME? Whoasef

That was the only black malt AIH had and I was placing my order through them for free shipping. Dont have too much experience with black malt but Ill takes notes of that for next time. and the DME is cuz I couldnt fit any more grain in my MT.

Hey I'm a guy who hates spending money on memberships. Gimme a look at that.

For free.

here you go, i paid for it just for you. you owe me now!

I cant even fit this all in my 17.5 gallon MT. I have to split it into two batches, and then I still have to add DME to get it up to 1.111

I max out at 13 lbs in my BIAB setup. I barely make 1.070 and that's a super thick mash and massive sparge, squeezing the bag like it looked at my daughter funny.

I need an upgrade.
