Transferred 5 gallons of beer to a barrel. Transferred the rest to secondary to age on coffee. Time to go drink some beer.

About a half gallon into running my lambic through the CFC I realize I forgot to add whirfloc and yeast nutrient. Dumped it back into the kettle and am going back to a boil. Last thing I need is cloudy lambic.

I wouldn't have worried about it. I don't think leaving the Whirfloc out would've mattered, especially in a lambic. The nutrients could've just been dissolved in a little bit of microwaved water and dumped straight in the FV.

What's the base on this? Golden? The cherries are there, with a little funk, and maybe a touch of acetic? Can't tell if it's that or if it's the cherries. Either way, I like it!

it's the kreik base with 10 lbs sour cherries, then blended 3 gal sour cherry with 2 gal english brown ( hopped with ekg to 7 ibu) used wyeast lambic blend and nottingham on the brown.
