better get used to it Siebel boy.

some photo's from the tour at Breck's new place. It's huge. All German equipment. One of the cool things is in one of the pictures. The city and neighbors were worried about the smell, so they installed a condenser to capture the steam / water vapor and most of the smell from the boil kettles. They take the hot water that it produces and reuse for wash / rinse in other places in the brewery. They viewed it as additional cost to keep the city happy and be a good neighbor, but has likely already paid for itself due to water reuse.

Todd, who is the President of Breck, said they have never worried about carbonation shipping to lower elevations or when they were in Breckenridge (the town - elevation over 9000 feet). They send 2 trucks of Breck to TX every week and no one complains about carb levels, so not gonna start worrying now. He said he could see an issue if it was shipping growlers or other packaging that was not pressurized all the way until the final package (bottle, can, etc) closed, but wouldn't think there should be an issue with a good canning / bottling process.

drinking second pour of the funkwerks. go back a page if you want a pic.

Cool pics. Damn liberals do not like the smell of the brewery.
common its magical

this one cost a little more. They weren't sure exact cost, but it was north of $100k. it is a 100 barrel system. They did the math when they were constructing it. If all the fermenters are full, its over 1 million, but not quite 2 million bottle of beer.

other news that Wes wont read, is they are going to be doing 16oz nitro cans of Vanilla Porter and Lucky U in the near future.

That imbev money already at work

Fever and the nightmares they bring are no fun for a 3 yr old. Could be a long night.

They're no fun for the adults watching over them either. Last 3 nights she got up in the middle of the night. Hope your kid gets better quick. Daughter hasn't gotten up yet, and her temp was finally down to normal this afternoon. Hopefully she'll be back to normal in the morning.

Thanks mate. Same to you and your little one.

Didn't you follow the thread today. They were worried that the brewery would over-power the ganja smell that all us Coloradans have grown to love and promote over the past year :)

I'm not gonna defend the sale. They made a business decision and have to live with the consequences, good and bad, but they had the new place all designed and permitted before AB came into the picture.

Ahhhhh I don't miss overnight shifts-used to have a job that I would work 4, 10 hr shifts from 9pm to 7am then have three days off then I would come back and work 3, 10 hr shifts from 9pm to 7am and then have four days off then come back and work 7 from 7am to 5pm. Then some other crazy afternoon shifts and then repeat. It kept my body pretty messed up.

And just like with a mild, you might as well just be drinking water.
#wholemilkornothing

When I was in my bulking phase, I used to drink half and half to get my calories up, and got a lot of my daily fat intake from that.

Kind of ruined milk for me though, whole even tastes a little watery.

Fecking sick is sticking around, but much less intense this morning. We'll see if I make it through the day.

Drinking a percentage of cow mucus is the topic this morning huh? No thanks. You guys done being sick and cranky yet? Got up early, shoveled, salted driveway and played with the puppy in the snow. Coffee and drawerangs.

Why don't you go draw something. No one asked for anything out of you. ;)
