So this afternoon my phone starts blowing up with calls and texts..."is the fish house still available?" Huh? Took me a while but finally figured out that a buddy put an ad up on craigslist for a free fish house, in great shape, needs to be gone today, in MN in winter, yeah good times

HB malted milk ball stout. There's some interesting coffee notes coming out as it's aged for a while. I like it.

Had some wine (Syrah) with dinner, now one of these. Either this is an old can, or this is really malty for a West Coast IPA.

Man I did a number on my back Monday evening, could hardly get out of bed Tuesday morning to call off to work. Woke up feeling 10x better still sore but was able to stretch out some today. What did the doc say? I thought about going yesterday but figured all he would say is to rest.
Hope you feel better soon. I wouldn't wish that pain on anybody.

I've mentioned before that I have no palate for wine, but I enjoy big reds like Cabernet or Syrah/Shiraz.

Ehh... I had bad form lifting this morning. Ice after have my back adjusted. Slipped a rib head. My own damn fault.

Nah, I had BK come by and teabag it.


I'd heard that the fats from adding actual Whoppers would be detrimental, so I added cocoa and malted milk powder to the boil, along with lactose for mouthfeel.

Took a private tour of Breck's new facility. Pretty cool setup. Also got an answer about carbonation levels by region / elevation. Basically no one worries about it.

Citra rye saison. Drinking really well right now. Really crisp and still has a ton of hops character for the age. Pretty surprised and happy with this. Probably need to save one for cad as its tasting pretty dry.

Snow is coming down pretty hard right now!
