Haha not sure why i didnt send any then, i certainly should have! And like they mentioned, i got a packaging position at tallgrass. Pretty pumped about it!

And holy cow, what a movie! I love all the humor in it. Upset about a few things but i wont go further. If you haven't seen it, go see it!!

There is a thread with spoilers somewhere on here. Go rant there. I had a few issues, but easily the best of the series since Empire.

I agree. Amazing movie. There will always be something for people to nitpick about on a series as loved and on going as this one.

I thought it was a good mix of old and new.
And I'm serious about the carbonation issue. If you can, check at Tallgrass if they take into account elevation in Denver vs Manhattan. I've had enough cans and bottles from flat lands that gush big time when I open here and had a few trade partners mention the beer from up here seams under-carbed. Inquiring minds want to know....

That may be a question for my Siebel instructor actually. He worked in the beer industry for 30 years. Started in Mexico as a brewer, worked consulting for awhile, and even did quality control at Coors.

Just hit my Kölsch with gelatin. Been making my wife miserable by using ice and a wide open window to keep it at a pretty 42°F. Swamp cooler winger lagering FTW. Going to bottle it up this weekend.

My former head brewer (who's wrapping up his own business plan) volunteered to be a sounding board for me. Which makes it only slightly less likely that I crash and burn spectacularly and go into massive debt and destroy my wife's and my good credit and get divorced in the process. This is a bad idea. Between starting from absolute scratch I'm aiming for opening in 3 years, at least that's what it says on the google docs that I pulled out of my ass. Flagship Dark Mild? You bet your floccing head. Hah. Good luck with that one ;) Or maybe said former head brewer will just offer me a job since he actually knows what he's doing and has connections and all that, but I don't particularly want to move to Michigan.

Best of luck to the guys going pro and the pro hopefuls. Working on my business plan now and if I'm not funded by the end of the year I'm gonna give up on becoming a pro Brewer and just open a small coffee shop/roaster.

Speaking of this, what do y'all think of this as a logo? My last name is French for clear water so that's where it comes from.

That logo is pretty slick. Good luck with everything! :rockin:

Like it! Living in Texas it's easy to brew better beer then 90% of the stuff out there (in Tx), but when 90% of Texans think Shinner is a great craft beer...think I'll keep my day job. Unless you got half a mil on hand...☺

I like it, but would move the bottom line closer together, instead of the gap between AZ and established. Something just seems off to me on the spacing the way it is.

This should do it for the night.

As for Star Wars...I'm from the original generation...nothing beats IV/V. All else is up for debate...and go!

I'm from the original generation too. Personally, I put the new one in my top 3. It had the feel of the originals. I know there's dislike of 1-3 but I like 3. If only for the place it has in the overall story. The final reveal of Palpatine's manipulation to gain control (a la Hitler?) Anakin's attempt to prevent the future only secures it. And the final battle where we see Obi-wan agonize over battling someone he loves as a brother. Script may have sucked but all that s*** was powerful. 1&2? No thanks.

It should have the feel of the originals since it borrows so heavily from them. I would rank it 5th out the 7 higher if there were more original material in the film. My order is empire, New Hope, Jedi, Revenge of the Sith, force awakens, clone wars and bringing up the rear phantom menace.

Still haven't seen Force Awakens yet, but I'd agree with the order otherwise.

Definitely can't argue with your ranking since those would be my top 5. I suppose they would be everyone's though.

I don't need to tell you this because the similarities will be very obvious to you but just pay attention for similarities to the original trilogy.

I've seen so many people ranking force awakens right behind the Empire strikes back. I think that's crazy. I liked force awakens it just isn't that high in the order for the franchise.

Not trying to steal his thunder, but he's at a movie and likely radio silent for awhile. Fins is gonna be Laverne and work the bottling line, except it's cans at Tallgrass.

Never heard of this brewery until @banesong hooked me up. Really solid beers.

Thanks, they make interesting stuff.

Water, weights.

Café in a minute.
