on my first batch, i did some thing wrong. im not sure wich part it was, but the beer tasted like a coors with a little apple juice in it, it was awsome. the bad part is that after two of the big mr. beer quart bottles, i didnt even have a buz.

It just hit me that i should try some of these new places....im living under a rock.

Water at the inlaws. They have stacks of NYFRB and ginger ale, and light beer. We came under the assumption that this was a dry party. So I'm not drinking.

There are 2 metal breweries in Denver just about a mile apart. TRVE (Broadway and 2ND-ish) & Black sky brewing (Santa Fe and 5th-ish)

Ended up doing a six mile hike - gloomy but we stayed dry. Had a half pizza/half calzone thing for dinner that was baked in a wood fired pizza oven. Now enjoying my food coma and enjoying @val214 's saison Dorothy. Outstanding brew Val!

Ok. I have a meeting downtown next week. I'll make sure I swing by the brewery and see what they have in bottles. They expanded in the past year or so.

Both have some good beer and some misses. Black Sky has pizza and great lunch special. Pint, salad and a slice for under $9. TRVE is beer only.

That's funny. I had a bottle fresh and didn't think it was great. I have a second bottle that is still aging. I think they've gotten better though. I recently had a Brett pale ale (Cursed, I think) that I enjoyed.
