Denver fans are loyal and annoying to a fault. If they lose, it like the world came to an end. It's seriously depressing in the office after a loss.

True. But the diehard Patriots fan I know can't even watch a game in public. He's either a smug ******* and everyone hates him or angry almost to the point of crying. Am I a bad friend for being happy when they lose?

That said, when I lived in Seattle, there were about 3 people that cared about football. That has changed.

Finished some Lost Forty from Hawgwild. Deciding what to open now. Something sour...

Finally finished off the Christmas turkey. Bones, giblets, skin, the lot.

Made a tasty broth from two carcasses (Thanksgiving and Xmas) in the pressure cooker. A bit of mirin, soy sauce, salt, pepper, star anise all the leftover wing and carcass meat some egg noodle veggies and yummage results.



Washed it all down with a boring lager.

I really like the Sláinte, but haven't seen a BA version. Haven't even seen it in bottles actually, got a growler of it a couple weeks ago though. Definitely a different style of scotch ale.

my favorite rugby quote when i was in college watching a game. The coach was on the sideline screaming at his team. 'For god's sake, the man is on the ground - step on him!'

You should live here. Every loss is the return of "oh, they suck. I knew they were gonna screw it up eventually. Looking forward to next year." Super irritating.

That said, I was seriously rooting for you guys to lose. And I like the Broncos. Maybe we'll meet again.
