A beer tasting at the county fair?

I'm thinking about dialing in a few good recipes and seeing what I have to do to set up a beer tasting booth at the Pratt county fair next year (ks), but I am really not sure where to start. When I lived in winston-Salem I seen a wine tasting at the Dixie Classic fair and thought it was pretty awsome. This would be kind of for a dual purpose, to get hopefully lots of feedback on my beer, and maybe to start a homebrew bug I a few... In lots of people. The nearest homebrew club is 60+ miles away and I'm just looking for some homebrew buddies. Has anyone ever put on a taste tent or whatever you call it? What needs to be done legally to do it?

Check with the committee/board that organizes the fair as a first step. Might find good support there. Our county fair board contracts for the entertainment and has the yea or nay power for vendors and displays.
