I had 7/10 up when I checked saturday before I went out of town....I'm sure they are all doing just fine! It's raining here all day/night and we have no stinking power :(

Hey 98, I'm from Annapolis. Where you from dude?

Anyway, the project looks great!! I wish I had the space to plant that many, I have five the fifth broke ground yesterday, finally! it's been over 6 weeks on that one.

I'm up in severna park. I think I'm getting more from balto charlie...making it 12 or 13 total

the trellis needs to be done ASAP....but I've been kinda 'under the weather' and haven't had a lot of strength. I have a growth the size of a ping pong ball growing outta my neck

trelis is figured out....going to be pretty neat.

It's rained a lot the past two days, and I have to get a few bines started on poles because they have grown enough that the rain has beaten them down. They do seem pretty resilient though

so last weekend it rained...this weekend is going to rain....well, just tonight. Anyway, I started to get the weeds under control...found some leftover mulch and started mulching. I need to pick up some more, and some concrete...but here is what I did last night. You can kinda see in my crappy pic the temp stakes I have for them to climb up on.

yeah....used the same ruler, measured in the morning, had 1 beer in me, so everything else was constant....just the hop growth was different

I'm really sure it's just luck....but then again hops are very robust plants

Hot diggity damn. That's awesome... I need land...

Any idea if Progress hops would grow here, I've not been able to get them ANYWHERE and I need them for my favorite recipe to date...

Page 55 of Hopunion's guide - http://www.hopunion.com/hopunion-variety-databook.pdf

It's growth habits are described as strong grower, dark in color, prolific cone producer.

It's supposedly a hybrid intended to replace Fuggle but with more of a citrusy flavor that comes from it's American variety heritage. :p

In short, Progress hops are 50% of my favorite ale's makeup.
