Finally got my keg done so looking to get my stuff ready for the 666 brew

What was the Wyeast equivalent for the WLP028 Edinburgh ale yeast? was it the 1728 Scottish ale yeast?

I pretty sure that I remember Dude saying that he thought that the 1728 would work. I remember cuz I just used the 1728 in a scottish 80/- last week. Only possible issue I see is that the wyeast 1728 has a high flocculation and the white labs is medium. Not that that is a big issue. It was different then the medium flocculating yeasts I have used prior to that.... There were huge chunks of yeast the size of quarters flying around in there at high fermentation.

I ended up brewing with Wyeast 1728 as it's the closest thing my local shop carried. There were a number of cross references that listed it as the closest match.
