In a 7cu ft one, I can fit 4 kegs on the floor and some bottles and CO2 on the hump part. I doubt you could fit 3 in a 5cu foot unless you build the collar high enough to put one on the hump.
 
I have the Holiday 5.0 Keezer with 8" collar. I can fit 3 pin lock kegs and a 5lb CO2 bottle. It's tight but it all fits.
 
You'd have to build a tall enough collar an put a keg on the compressor hump like bruin_ale said, but check out this thread to see whether or not that's even feasible.

Thanks for that link, it's actually the 5.5 Magic Chef and that photo shows 4 kegs (no co2) fitting just fine.

Can anyone give me the dimensions on a CO2 tank? Or does it change depending on the manufacturer.
 
a 5# tank is 5.5" dia x ~18.25" tall
