5 cu. ft. keezer question

How much can you fit in a 5 cu keezer? Can you fit 3 kegs? Thanks

In a 7cu ft one, I can fit 4 kegs on the floor and some bottles and CO2 on the hump part. I doubt you could fit 3 in a 5cu foot unless you build the collar high enough to put one on the hump.

Yeah, I doubt you'll be able to fit three. I have this 7.2 and I can only fit 3 five gals on the floor and 2 three gals on the hump. The 3 gals have to be offset a little but they will fit fine.

You'd have to build a tall enough collar an put a keg on the compressor hump like bruin_ale said, but check out this thread to see whether or not that's even feasible.

It really depends on the freezer. There is a thread in the bottling/kegging section that provides different freezer sizes.

I personally have a 7.0 cu ft freezer that has the smaller compressor hump in the back corner allowing me to fit more that some without having to build a collar.

I have the Holiday 5.0 Keezer with 8" collar. I can fit 3 pin lock kegs and a 5lb CO2 bottle. It's tight but it all fits.

Thanks for that link, it's actually the 5.5 Magic Chef and that photo shows 4 kegs (no co2) fitting just fine.

Can anyone give me the dimensions on a CO2 tank? Or does it change depending on the manufacturer.

a 5# tank is 5.5" dia x ~18.25" tall
