And of course the BA thread gets locked just after the update from Dark Horse that would have provided some more entertainment.

The BA thread is pretty good. That rden4654 has got to be one of the biggest BA **** heads in a long time. And that is saying a lot coming from that site.

Funny. I totally agree. Weird part about that is is that, based on his comments, he must've been in the first 17 folks in line at the Kahn's Black Friday event. I was as well which means I certainly must've met him during the bottle share. I've kept in contact with a number of those folks, so I'm dying to know which one he is.

For the record, that BuckeyeBeerHead was at Kahn's too. He was 18th in line (17 bottles of vanilla); considering that and this, he did a pretty good job expressing his disappointment without throwing a tantrum, I thought!

New money just tripped on a snow fence and fell into a pile of bricks.
was this the guy wearing the Lions hat that couldnt stop bragging about how much beer he buys and how rare his beer was while he was sharing world wide stout and heady topper? he was in line next to me as it snaked back around. i saw him take a tumble as he was cutting in line. he was around 100 people behind me all night and ended up getting a ticket nearly 175 spots in front of me. the guy could not stop going on about how awesome he was.

Well, just to be clear, I did trip (probably several times, onto several different piles of bricks - why were there so many piles of bricks?) but this certainly was not me.

...although my beer IS rather rare, coming from small Canadian microbreweries and all....

...also, I'm real awesome.

Lions hat? Thats a FIB undercover. Like when Americans go to Europe and fly a Canadian flag on their backpacks. ;)

If anyone thinks Ohio is nothing but dumpesses I will open up some nice bottles with whoever next week.

Also if anyone has the time, please turn that BA thread into an animated movie.

All of BA is an animated movie.
Fucktarded version of Adventure Time. Sad, strange, more sad, occasionally silly enough to laugh at.

I just can't wait until the day Jaden Smith joins BA.

"If beers could talk they would be the most intelligent beings on the planet"

"If a brewery runs out of a certain beer, does that mean nobody drinks it or everybody drinks it?"

"Are beers ales?"

I can verify this story, since that was me. Don't remember the bricks but definitely woke up the next day wondering how I was covered in so much mud.

And why my face hurt so bad.

As this was my first time waiting in a significant line for beer, I knew nothing of the term "FIB" before last night.

Consider me an expert now. To prevent line cutting, we simply implemented a buddy system. That is, we shared beer with, and thus became buddies with, the guys in front of us and the guys behind us. So when we turned around and noticed that the dude behind us was a different dude (our buddy was now behind him), we called him out. This is when he told us he had driven all the way from South Chicago and that he was going to kill us.

True story. "BBPT5 - A beer worth killing for".

Agreed on dat llama heart wit da cricket on top. One of my favourites, second only to dat koala brain.

Also a true story.

Despite being one of the unlucky 200 to lose out on the DB due to a change in case limits, we had an amazing time. Thank you all.
No FIB was as bad as orange dude with the large Michigan group at the huge bottle share tent around #100. Drunk by 8pm, walked through everyone's campsite 7 times in a half hour to use the bathroom kicking and tripping over anything in his path, cursing at people, puked and passed out by 10.

Its a good thing he did too. Plenty of people around us were ready to slap him around.

**** that guy.

I love how the same guy who crys about not getting a 4 pack would have most defnitely taken 2 4 packs if he was in a position to do so in turn "screwing" someon else .

I haven't read a single person say people who bought it were "screwing" them. It was a little upsetting that Dark Horse announced a one-4 pack limit beforehand, letting us wait outside all night assuming we made the cut from the amount available that they also announced, then handing out order forms with different allotments.

I'll be back next year anyways. The party is hella fun.

I started skimming his rants after the first few so maybe I misspoke. Either way anyone who got 2 4 packs instead of 1 "isn't a good BA" and are going to have bad "beer karma!"...

My bad. I didn't bother reading the BA thread. Screw that guy.

On a more positive note I thought that the bottle pickup process was very smooth. I was in the mid 600s and ended up getting my bbpt5 around 5:30 ish vs. the 8 pm estimate. Once all of the other bottles sold out the pace of sales seemed to really accelerate.

Those dudes rocking the dollys were killing it. I did my part and I hope/bet they made a shitload in tips.

I have tipped them $5 every previous year.

Dark Horse removed the ATM from the restaurant sometime since last 4Elf so I had to pay my entry and ticket charges with my credit card and I had no cash. Felt suuuuper bad about not tipping this year.

For all you jabronies that didn't get any bbpt5, or for those that didn't get enough, Dark Horse has posted on fb that all left over and abandoned beer will be up for sale Wednesday from noon-9, with a 2 case limit. Only regular bbpt5, no other special release beers.

Hope the dude I was standing next to that did nestea plunge at about 6am is doing well. Though he was a goner. Was fine then poof, "I'm a rug". Great group around snatched him right up, grabbed a chair, liquefied him and back to the scheduled program. Good Times
