Anything that helps me to avoid blindly buying some of these beers is much appreciated. Did you like them enough that you will be buying them at 4Elf?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one has tried these yet, right?:

• Brandy 4Elf
• Top Fuel Barley Wine
  
• 13th Anny (and we don't even know the style, right?)
• BBA Long Polymer John Donut

I don't think Brandy 4Elf has been tried by anyone yet.
Top Fuel - on tap at Local Option in Chicago (it was a collab with them and DH). Also at Detorit Fall Beer fest.
13th Anny - I am hoping it is what Nate said as I would believe it is that as well.
BBA John Donut - on at Detroit Fall Fest. Solid but nothing mind blowing.

What time do you realistically need to get there to get some BB Pt5? On the other site people are talking about lining up at 9:00p the night before, 2a, etc, which seems crazy considering there are going to be 642 cases of BB Pt5 available.

Last year you had to be in line about 2 hours before they started handing out tokens. There are about 5,000 more bottles of BBPt5 this year (~10,000 vs ~15,000). No way you need to be in line at 9pm or 2am but that won't stop people from doing it anyway.

My plan is to attend a bottle share and then get some sleep. Then wake up ******* early and check here for a post like "its 3am and the line is 30 people deep." Then I will pack up some beers and drag my ass on down to Dark Horse.

Last year they grilled up some food and I think they said they're doing the same again this year. See earlier in this thread for beers available. Bottle sharing in line will happen, not sure on hotel bottle shares.
