I'm trying an IPA with 34/70 fermenting at 66 deg.
After fermentation I'm not sure if I should lager at near freezing to bring out the lager side of it or continue conditioning at 66 to bring out the Ale side.

I'll be going away for 2 weeks so whatever I leave it at is where it will stay.

Kind of a trial type hybrid beer.....any ideas???

I would lager it cold, the yeast wont produce more esters after fermentation. And by storing it cold, the beer will be nice and clear when you come back.

I recently used that yeast on an IPA fermenting at 65 degrees. About 10 days in I started lagering it at 33 degrees in the primary. At about day 20 it got kegged and put on gas in the kegerator at 38 degrees. I am now at day 43 from pitch and it tastes amazing.

Im 11 days in on a Lager i let ferment at 65 with this yeast. The gravity sample tastes amazing and will be kegging this Friday and lagering for weeks and report back.
Im sure it will be tasty.
