last night my friend and I started 3 different wines, 5 gallon of grape wine,3 gallon hard apple cider, 1 gallon of pineapple wine.
For the grape I used 3 cans of welch's concentrate per gallon, 5 tsp of yeast nutrient and pitched 2 packets of lalvin 1118.
The cider i used 2.25 gallons of 100% unsweetened apple juice in a jug with 2 cups of granulated sugar and 3 tsp of yeast nutrient with 1 packet of lalvin 1118.
lastly the pineapple was 2 half gallon cans of dole 100% pineapple juice ( saved some room for headspace) added 1 cup of sugar and 1 tsp of yeast nutrient and 1 packet of lalvin 1118.
all yeast was mixed with warm water for at least 10 minutes before pitching in each batch.
only downside is we were rushing and did not take original gravity readings.
Can't wait to try them out in a couple weeks!
