I was a little worried about ferment temps with my kolsch 2565 Wyeast. Ambient temperature is 54 degrees, and this is 48 hrs later. Guess i was fretting for nothing.

PS. This was from a vial frozen in May/2014 and stepped up

Looks good. I've not brewed a Kolsch, but 55F should give you a nice clean Kolsch, I would think. Patience might be key here, too - letting the yeast do their job, at their pace, especially if its closer to 55F than 60F.
