I’m new to electric. I picked up a heating element rated for 2200w and recommended for 10amp at 220v. If I run this on 30amp circuit will it burn up the element?

30 amp circuit will be fine for 2200w at 220v. A 30 amp circuit means the breaker can handle up to 30 amps and the wire is sized to handle up to 30 amps.

The element itself sets the current, not the breaker that is protecting the circuit. So, no problems with that element on a 30A circuit.

Brew on :mug:

Just make sure the circuit is GFCI protected. Normally done by a GFCI Breaker. This will keep you from getting fried.
