Anyone in here happen to be driving up to SARA today or tomorrow morning from the LA area or passing though on their way up? I need to get a small box up to bird22. Please let me know ASAP. Cheers!

anyone had Capitola Breezes recently? curious of how that is doing, absolutely loved the bottles when they were released a few years ago and was thinking about trying to track one down.

Those are indeed the Bella + Canvas hoodies. They aren't exactly the same, but they fit along the lines of the way American Apparel garments used to. Super comfy and somewhat "tapered" or slim.

Are they still available at both locations? Trying to come down sometime this week to try them on before I send in my size.

I love those SD preview events. The first kegs of We Are You and Capitola Breezes showed up at a Hamilton’s event during beer week a few years ago too.

Same, there was another preview of one of the Nonna's during a SARA/OtherHalf tap takeover at a "second saturday" event at Hamilton's the same day as MT's Festival of Dankness. Oh man, that was a long day.

EoC was available via eventbrite last year. I dosnt partake, but I dont think there were truley "crowds". Plus Sante is safety 80 miles away from most of sfbw.

Unless a keg of EoC shows up randomly at some event. Then, it's Zombieland time.

They've done sante and friends in the past during sf beer week and that draws a huge crowd. so i could imagine if they announce it being released it will be the same. and many locals felt like they missed out on the release due to people from out of town being able to plan a trip for their pickup window the eventbrite sale allowed.

When they released EoC B1 to members only (and had a ******* awesome party) out of state members complained. B2 had the issues noted above. The point I’m trying to make is that someone will always complain.

I just hope they at least get kegs or bottles for in house portal consumption.

I'll flying into San Francisco airport soon, then taking highway one down to Santa Cruz. Any recommendations for a quick lunch spot? Obviously not a fast food chain but maybe something more unique, if there even is something like that on that route. Can be any kind of food, not picky.

Right into Santa Cruz off the 1 from that direction you'll pass Mission Barbecue, which is great. Burger’s solid in that area as well, as is Los Pericos downtown. Further up the 1 is Whale City, a solid breakfast/pastry spot. In Pescadaro, there’s Duarte’s, which is an excellent sit down option, though I’ve never tried their lunch.

I regret not going to that baller-ass Taco Bell on the coast that serves alcohol last time I was in town

Companion bakeshop near Humble Sea is great on the Westside. I would go to taqueria De La Hacienda and get an al pastor burrito or a vegetarian taco or two if you don’t do meat. If you have cash Tacos Morenos is also awesome. Gayle’s or Aptos St Bbq have good food you can take to Sante, The Portal has great food.

depending on where you cross over to highway one (i take it you're starting from Pacifica?) Id pitstop at either sam's chowder house for the views and the spicy fried shrimp, or San benito's house (deli side) for a sandwich. holy crap are those sandwiches good, and they bake their own bread there. both are in half moon bay.

if you leave early and cruise into santa cruz around noon I'd hit up the Crows Nest for the best calamari around (half off during happy hour)

I’m hoping Beauty Sleep holds out for a while, as it’s looking like I’ll finally get back up in a few days.
