Hope to meet some of you later today (session 2).

Release and party couldn't have been more enjoyable. Session 2 was very chill and did lots of tip touching. Highlights were Elements of Composition, Broken Truck, Atrial on tap, The Archer, Petit Blanc and of course all the SARA offerings: Forest for the Trees, Cask Strawberry, Saison Bernice, Capitals Sunset. Thanks to all the SARA crew especially and of course JK and DG.

Mildly bummed I missed out on Broken Truck as that's one of my top "gets," but really can't complain too much. Elements was also top tier.

Ok, I have a confession to make.
I didn't realize they were pouring ANY of that ****! I saw Ryan_G post broken truck etc in another thread and assumed they were popping bottles.
The line for the bar went all the way past the winery like it was a WA bottle release or something so I just bought EOC, said hello to a few folks and went back to work.

Damn....

From talking to session 1 folks (and looking at untappd feeds), it looks like the good stuff didn't get broken out to session 2. Glad I switched times, was way chill and a really nice way to spend an hour and a half.

Yeah, no Atrial and no Broken Truck for session one. Two definitely sounds like the one to go to...

Sad I missed that (Beercraft also had it before Ratebeer but wasn't able to make that either). Hoping for bottles as Recency Effect has been stellar....

"Collaboration with Other Half. Belgian style blonde ale with lime juice and zest, aged in gin and wine barrels."

You didn't miss anything. Beercraft was totally miserable. The line was over 100 ft long and snaked all the way around the bus made perimeter in the back. I parked, went in, took one look, and just left.

Damn. brentsdodgers, 82300sd, rrryanc, and I were there Friday afternoon and it was actually calm. This was before the Toppling Goliath event though.

Somebody convinced me to stay for the TG part, against my better judgment. You were right to leave when you did.

BTW, shout out to the brewers and beercraft management for opening bottles of assassin and kbbs in front of everyone waiting for them to put on the other TG beers. Real classy way to handle that.

What was up with De Garde-y looking glasses that some people were using yesterday. Did those come from the De Garde EOC event?
