Sucks that it's a Monday afternoon. I'll try to move stuff around and take vacation hours to go. I need to pick up the last allocation anyway.

Hopefully there won't be rain/mudslide issues.

Ha! Completely forgot about that.
Since the beer was packaged at DeGarde it's probably considered a guest beer now so they can't sell it to the public.

I was originally thinking the same thing, but they did sell 38 Miles which was brewed/packed at Alvarado Street. Maybe they are doing it this way because EoC is more high profile, and it is the only responsible way they could think of to sell the small number of bottles they received (I hear 500 bottles).

Goin for 3rd sesh, good luck everyone!

Those alvarado street collabs have been interesting, council down in SD also sold theirs and I am pretty sure they didn't do it legally...

Actually Council brewed it. Alvarado just helped package it. At least that is what I heard. It allowed Council to sell it as their beer onsite. It is also why it was/is on draft.

Well then Alvarado sold it illegally, because they were also selling it out of their brewery. Maybe there is some type of loophole they are executing. Like with 38 miles if they used Sante yeast technically they made it?

Tickets are live for purchase.

In for Session 2

Alternatively: hang around SC and hit up some other beer joints. I've still never been to most of them and would like to do that sometime...
There are other breweries in SC?! Hah, lots of good ones out there. Corralitos sours are kinda legit now too.

The pub food at Seabright Brewery is pretty damn great, and West End has a bit of a bougier BJ's vibe to it with solid burgers. Discretion also has some higher end fare, especially for a brewery. I had a friend who ran the kitchen there for a while who's since moved on, so I can't speak to it now, but I'd imagine it's held up.

Also, we finally did the Venus tasting last time we were in town and had a great time. I'm not much of a straight spirits guy, which made the optional cocktail all the more appealing while everyone was tearing through everything else. High recommend if you're there during their open hours.

Lupulo, Shanty Shack, Humble Sea (soon), Corralitos, BBQ bros, etc.
