Maybe the one being released today is, but I assume Ryan was talking about the most recent previous release since he presumably hasn't had this one an hour and a half before it was released.

(Also, typically standard release batches that get club releases also get public releases, I doubt the club is big enough to take an entire batch of WA, so I'd guess they're the same.)
WA is wine barrel-aged. Could easily do a batch just for the club with two or three barrels.

Anais and Bernice, I believe.
Preeeeeeeetty sure that's wrong, as I'm quite confident that Anais and Bernice aren't the same base. WA could be one of them, sure, but not both! (Also, when was the last time that Anais was released?)

But, again, why? They have a ton of barrels. Seems more likely that it's one batch that was released a few weeks apart to the club and the general public, which happens all the time.

Bernice is Anais in the stainless tanks.

Non mixed-fermentation Bernice. There's also wood-aged Anais, which I don't think has a distinct name.
You'd think that the yeast/bacteria you pitch would be a pretty big difference in defining a beer, which might be why I remembered Tim saying that they're different. So they're the same wort with different bugs?

Foudre #2 was the name given to the recently released wood-aged Anais. I imagine that, now that their foudres are no more, any new batches of it will have a different name.

Was in on Friday for my mom's birthday; crowd was super mellow and tons of great beer pouring. I primarily stuck to Nonna's 13 but was able to try most of the taps. Special thanks to AnkaSteam for taking care of me and the family! We had a bigger group and hopefully we weren't too crazy. Rooster was great too, and didn't try to sneak too many treats from the table.

Clint gave my dad and me a really nice little tour of the brewhouse and chatted about some upcoming plans. Really excited for how things are moving along, and looking forward to checking out the new location!.

Also, congratulations again to AptosBeerDrinker for the new role!

Look out for updates there but if anyone has general questions about the new space throw em up here and I'll do my best to answer them. No, we don't have an opening date yet.

Will there be tank tops?

What about 5 panel hats?

When is Cellarman back?

Will Wrigley be there?

Is there an opening date?

Will Phish and Souls of Mischief be co-headliners for the grand opening concert?
