In related news (tip of the hat to oakwoodaged for showing me this) Georgia is not getting ANY regular BCBS because - get this - Goose Island/ABI sent them the wrong version. Georgia has a 14% ABV cap so they were supposed to get the 13.8% bottling but a mixup caused them to receive the 14.3% version, which they can't sell.

Because you can't go out and buy and number of 40%+ ABV liquors, amirite?

Texas sucks sometimes, but at least I can buy Rumpkin at the supermarket, lol.
 
Yeah I talked to the owner yesterday about whether it was a good idea to already have it out on the floor. He's got really good surveillance coverage inside and outside of his store. But ****, even if someone knocks it all over, its a huge loss.
Apparently retailers like showing off their beer peens as well.
