I have ordered Simcoe twice this year and wanted to share my interesting experience. I now have some 13.3% AA Simcoe that smells more melony and almost bubble-gum like (maybe that's passion fruit-ish?), and another with 14.5% AA that smells more citrusy and pungent. From one source I got a pound bag of the 13.3%, and another source sent me a half pound of each. The vendor said that the 14.5% AA Simcoe was grown organically, and there seems to be a pretty major difference in aroma. Anyhow, seemed pretty interesting to me.
