Here's my 3 year old Chinook. Year after year, she gives me 2 harvests... one in September, the other in May/June. Here are some pics of harvest numero uno for this year taken today... 1 lb 1 oz wet.

Oh, and 100% organic!

More empty than full kegs nowadays, I think I'll make a "wet hopped" ale this weekend, the first brew of the year. (Yeah, having an 18-month-old rugrat in the house will put a damper on your brewing schedule)

Anyone else getting any cones yet?

Nice man!! got lots of spurs and some cones forming on my Chinooks & Cascade, but nothing Harvestable yet. Looking to make Pale Ale with those two this year. Will be my first brew with Homegrown hops.

I have some cones forming on my sunbeam, and spurs on my Willamette and nugget. Its crazy, you get two full harvests? Jealous!

Maybe it's the variety.... My Willamette's never grow taller than 4 to 6'. The Nugget I have is in a 5-gallon bucket, so I can't compare it to a plant in the ground. My Zeus is ready to pick too now; she's about 30' tall, much taller than any other variety I grow.

The Magnum I have has full cones, but only a few ounces worth.
