Some of you guys said to let my beer sit in the primary fermentation or switch to a secondary to help with flavor and quality. I am an impatient man but this time, I listened to your advice. I let it ferment for 2 weeks.

As I was botteling my beer tonight, I tasted it. DAMN! what a difference. I am stoked to see the outcome after the aging process.

Thanks Friends!!!

Grasshoppa you must listen to the masters, they will show you the way! :)

Glad it worked out for ya, I like many hardly ever use a secondry any more!

That's the thing with this hobby; it's not compatible with impatience. There are so many "tricks" people come up with to speed things up. But good ol' fashioned waiting fixes most ills.

It's a good lesson to learn early. ;)

and two weeks is just the beginning!! Try waiting 3 or even 4 in primary...it just gets better!

And the best part is while you're waiting you can make more batches, tinker with gear, etc.

I agree. It is a very passive hobby. 2 weeks is really the minimum, 3(or 4) is best!

It's easier to wait four weeks if you have four batches aging... I callz it the pipeline

Two weeks is too soon to be bottling in my eyes. If I secondary to add fruit or oak, that's when I am moving mine over......or if i'm doing long primary form normal beers, that's only half way through my process.

Like other's have said, try to have patience, your beer will thank you.
