I have 2 half barrels for sale. I removed the spear and worked on cleaning b oth to use for fermenters. One is pretty clean, just a bit of PBW residue left. It could definitely be used for a fermenter. The other needs some more work to clean up for fermenting, or you could just cut the top and make into a keggle. Obviously you could do that with the other one too.
