I think there's something wrong with this wine, folks.

Well I gained 2 pounds this week, so I need to hit this diet of mine harder. What better way than to sink a couple cans of Athletic Brewing diet beer in my 24 ounce glass!
Run Wild IPA is a West Coast, low calorie, non-alcoholic IPA. Earlier this year, I sampled nearly every West Coast produced IPA, both traditional and hazy. I have no idea how they are pulling this one off, but this is a terrific IPA, fresh, hoppy and drinkable – 68 calories and very hard to tell from a regular low ABV IPA. This one gets the Beermeister32 seal of approval, this is a great beer!
Based out of Milford CT and now with brewing in San Diego, Athletic Brewing believes it operates the World’s largest Non-Alcohol brewery in Connecticut. My guess is this is their San Diego product, the San Diego area is full of IPA talent.

In the middle of a week at our daughter’s. Son also flew in from Minnesota. He and I went out for a couple of beers yesterday. First up an all Simcoe wcipa at Casa Agria called Eyes Are Simcoe.
Then we stopped at Institution Ales and I had a pale ale called Somewhere Golden.
Chilling now with a hard raspberry lemonade.

Mead I started in October, 2020. A tad tart so I backsweetened with a little toasted marshmallow syrup and that balanced it nicely.
Hb Czech premium lager... yeah this one is a good one. Locking this recipe down. The LUKR tap helps but it's good no matter what. Improper glassware.
Think I'll have another.

That is amazing head retention… doesn’t even spill.
Went camping at a nearby state park. After 2 days, we headed home. Hot, humid, swarms of mosquitoes, and couldn't use a/c, as it was a non-elec site. Kinda fun while it lasted, though, with some decent hiking.
Saw this campground friend, lounging by the bathroom/shower bldg. She didn't budge an inch while I was standing 20' away.
Got home, unpacked, cleaned out the camper. Having a HB Baltic porter out back.

You guessed it, another bargain bin find. Grocery store keeps putting out these $4 and $5-6pks. I now have 104 bargain bin beers chilling.
I am such a weenie! As a guy from the West Coast, I go into panic mode as a bit of mild Mid-Atlantic humidity starts to converge with just barely 90F temps. "Alarm!!!!!! It's getting hot and muggy! Drain all the winter and spring kegs immediately! Secure the hops and make ready the adjuncts! Prepare all kegs for insipid fizzy yellow swill!!!"
Meanwhile, down in Alabama, Rish is calmly enjoying a glass of Mexican Cake Stout.
Total weenie, that's what I am.
Today has been a great day! A couple weeks ago I sent MaxStout some dry Kolsch sachets that I nabbed during the pandemic. I came home to a big USPS mailer full of coasters and stickers from the magnificent MaxStout. It's no joke, it's a no BS horde of stickers. Sticker dragons would happily sleep on this trove of stickers.

Pretty tasty hefe. I prefer more hefe esters but this isn't bad.
