1919 Root Beer recipe?

Is there a recipe out there for 1919 Root Beer? I searched but haven't found much of anything...

How about a recipe for a root beer from around that time period?

One-fourth ounce hops
One-half ounce wild cherry bark
One-half ounce Coriander
1 ounce allspice
1 ounce sassafras
1 ounce yellow dock
1 ounce wintergreen
3 quarts molasses
5 gallons water
1 pint yeast

Pour boiling water over all ingredients excepting yeast. Strain, then add yeast when liquid has cooled to 98 degrees. Ferment as above, bottle and seal.
