Can the Bud or Bud Light 160z aluminum cans be reused, even if only for a short time? I like to enjoy a cold beer on my boat while fishing, only thing is-I don't allow glass on my boat. Too many risks, as well as it sinks-meaning if it goes over we cannot retrieve it. Can these be used if bottled from a keg with a counter pressure bottler if used in a day or two?

Use plastic PET bottles. They come in 16oz, 1L, 20oz and 2L sizes, they are reuseable, hold pressure, they don't break and do float.

I have used the 16oz Mountain Dew aluminum bottles more than a few times. An added bonus it looks like you are drinking Mtn Dew instead of beer.:mug:

How do you seal them?

I would just stick with the plastic soda bottle. Just keep them out of the light and they work just fine.

I just cap them like any other bottle. Here is what I am talking about.

thats a great idea for beaches and parks that do not allow glass. Thanks for the post. I will def be doing that.

I second the PET bottles for the boat. I should take my own advice - I always just buy cans. Then again, I choose not to drink when I'm underway so its really just for my friends.
