Trying to clean up some old brew stuff I'm not using anymore. Not sure if anyone would be interested in this but figured I'd try before taking it to the scrapyard.
This is a 10gal pot I used as a prototype HLT/HEX in my HERMS setup. It has 4 holes in the pot and one in the lid:
1) Dip hole/ drain. Approx 2" from bottom of pot, centered under handle
2) Thermometer. Approx 5.5" from bottom of pot, centered under handle
3&4) Holes for HERMS coil approx 7.5" apart. I used the Blichmann HERMS Coil (small, I think?) here.
All holes were drilled with a 13/16" hole saw and filed down, so aren't as perfect as a punch. It might take a few tries to get a seal that doesn't leak a drop here or there.
