did i ruin my 1st brew

i wasnt sure if there was enough water in my airlock as its been 24hrs an still no bubbling so i add extra water in the airlock will that effect it

What was your recipe and procedure? If it's only been 24 hours, wait another day. Depending on the conditions you pitched your yeast into, it can take a while...

i used coopers pale ale with a mix of 500gm of malt an 500gm of sugars i bought off a local brewer and added a tea bag of cascade hops

i actually jst got a bit of action finally it seems to let a few bubles through every 30sec or so thank you for your reply anyway i appreciate it :ban:

Soooooo, you were worried that there was no activity in your airlock, and your solution wasto add more water to the airlock? I'm confoozled.
