Not that, in fact Texas has some GREAT beers. I don't want something for doing this, I would rather do something like a swap and share other good beer. In other words, reciprocate. And I love piano music. Do you know The Entertainer?

Entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag are 2 favorite Joplin's pieces..fun to play, or at least how I remember. Was more a Beethoven/Chopin/Rachmoninoff guy tho.

Not a piano player, but I always love McCoy Tyner and Cecil Taylor. Rachmaninov is incredible, though.

My work productivity today has gone to absolute crap. I'm just sitting here refreshing my browser every 5 minutes in anticipation of the offers.

I am a bit late getting my offer in to GaBrewZoo, but I at least got pics of my beer sent this morning. I didn't know I had to provide links to the BA or other review site last time, so I took the time to do that this morning. Apologies for the picture quality. I forgot to do it last night and had to ask my daughter to do it for me this morning and text me the photos.

I also wanted to remind everyone to packaged well. I just had a delivery fail via FedEx because the package was damaged. I called the local FedEx location to inquire about delivering the undamaged portion, but they found out it's beer and they can't deliver the rest to me and can't return it to the sender either. Not good. It may be a good idea to wrap the entire contents in a plastic bag to contain any leaks.

I would like a healthy dose of beer porn now thank you.

I'm gonna start drinking my offer soon. The wait is too stressful!

Just to be clear, I picked up a glass for the swap, but ended up not really liking it as much as I liked it when I bought it, so I have another one on the way. The glass going out for the swap is a Founders Barrel Aged Goblet:



I say to pick 6 beers, because in the last swap I got a very nice box that holds a lot of beer, and I'm using it to send beer to the next person, so why not use up all the space in there, right?

Lol, well, I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I figured rather than trying to do a perfectly laid out picture, I'd just do one that reflected the reality of my life at the moment and make it a little more unique.

The thing I love about this format is that even when I've had a selection in the bottom 25%, I've always managed to end up with one of my top 3 choices. Honestly - the only reason that knowing the draw order would make things easier is if I ended up in the #1 position. Even then, I'd still probably end up switching my choice at least a half-dozen times!

Very true, especially with the quality choices here.


I did a local trade like this before a couple times. The only drawing was to see who was first. Whoever's offering was picked was up next... and so on. Basically, you were awarded a high pick (after the random first) for offering a great selection that would be picked early. After a couple times, almost every offering was of a premium quality and from all corners of the U.S. Unfortunately, after a couple fist fights (because it was in one house and everyone was drinking heavily, lol) the group was disbanded.

I was thinking of restarting the local trade again, but then I saw these threads...
