Thanks a lot. I have the step bit and am trying to track down a punch - those things are exPensive. I can't determine if the HF punches are conduit or chassis. I had a hard time drilling my pilot hole in the Bayou. I used a cobalt bit and I could barley get it to grab.

What did you end up going with for the FB? I also have the same Kettle and am looking at NorCal's Jaybird FB's but have questions with the height of the stand and the dip tube set up. My current diptube is just a 90 street elbow coming off the SS coupler. Cheers

I just got a Coleman Xtreme 52qt to upgrade my current mash tun and the plug is not lined with plastic, and instead the foam is present. Is this new or is this how everyone's is? I don't see how it can be used with a bulkhead because of the foam.

No, I am pulling from the bottom, running through the HERMS, then back into the MLT. But I need a bulkhead/ball valve (or some other option) on the top to hook a QD too to drain the wort back into the MLT.
