    History Month Crap

Why do we have history month for everything? Black history, Women's History, etc. It's just ridiculous. But...if we are going to have history month, I would like to suggest February as Midget History Month. It is after all the shortest month! :ban:

I have three half kegs that I want to convert to keggles. I've already cut off the tops, but what do I need as far as a valve assembly. Off the HD or Lowes shelf would be preferable. Also weldless. Thanks as always!! Cheers and Fair Winds, Kevin

    CO2 Regulator question

I've got a taprite 5261 SN. It is a secondary regulator. I bought it off Ebay not knowing quite what I was getting. My question is, can I use this as a primary regulator if I were to get the correct fitting from the tank to the regulator, or will the full pressure be too much for this regulator...

    Priming with DME

I am getting ready to bottle an oatmeal stout. The recipe calls for a pound of DME. That sounds like a lot to me. It is a 5.5 Gallon batch. If this sounds right, my question is how much water should I boil to get the DME mixed with the wort? I appreciate all your help.:mug: Cheers and...

Raise a glass to first canned Beer

Just heard that on this date in 1935 the first canned beer was introduced in America. I'm sure it was swill, but hey it was still beer. The thing that would suck though is no poptop. You had to use a can opener! But I still applaud the genius who made beer portable!!:mug: First canned beer was...

    secondary fermentation temp

Brewing an oatmeal stout. Recipe calls for secondary temp to be 50 F. I am using Nottingham yeast. The warmest I can get my fridge is about 43 F. I can not get my carboy much colder thatn about 65. Will it kill the yeast at 43? I am worried about carbonization if the yeast is not active due...

    Great Deal on Sierra Nevada

So, I did something that I am kind of ashamed of today....I bought beer. The local Target had Sierra Nevada Pale for 8.39 a sixer.....not a great deal. But they also had the same beer in a 12 pack for the same price. :ban: Bought 2 twelve packs and SWMBO said that I need to get the rest. Can't...
