    So is there a difference between using peels vs liquid extracts? Same goes for peppermint. Leaves vs liquid?

    Marshmallow Stout???

    So I was sitting at the table with my 3 year old son going halfsies on a cup of hot chocolate w/ marshmallows. Then I thought, man what about a marshmallow stout. Anyone k ow if there's any recipes out there? Think I may make this my next batch.

    Will opened hop packages keep????

    So I'm only making 2 gallon batches. I just brewed a Hefe and only had to use about .25oz. I wrapped up the package tight, scotch tapped it, sealed it tight in a Ziplock bag and threw it the freezer. Will they keep? If so, for how long?

    There for 2 gallon batches. I sized it around 3 gallons full. Its about 18" tall. If it turns out well I'll see about making more.

    I'm a draftsmen. I work for a Sheet Metal Company that install HVAC ductwork. I make the installation drawings. Sometimes i spend a little more time on here that i do on ACAD. oops

    So ive been researching brewing for a couple of months and have made 3 batches (ferming the 3rd batch now) so far and things seem to be going pretty well. The work that goes into a batch of beer 2 gallons just doesnt seem to pay off. I've looked at many threads and searching aot of equipment...

    Safbrew WB-06 in Hefeweizen, is that right?

    So to clear up the "2/3 addition". this was the the balance of the DME. Also, i am only doing 2 gallon batches. I really dont have the space (AKA wifes approval) to do 5 gallon batches.....yet. currently i dont have a hydrometer so i cannot give a OG or FG, but i can guess with the rest of them...
