    This is an exercise in simplicity. 11lbs Marris Otter 1 lb Crystal 20L 1 lb roasted barley 2 oz Goldings hops (first wort) 2 oz Fuggles @ 10 minutes 1 pkg Nottingham yeast Mash at 152 F for 1 hour Sparge in your usual way to collect ~ 7 gallons add Goldings and bring to a boil boil for 1 hour...

    Move to second vessel during secondary?

    I usually just use 1 fermenter. I have never had an issue with it spoiling and at times I have had to go up to a month before bottling due to work, family, etc. For dry hopping I use a Depth Charge ( a stainless steel infuser)

    Check the gravity over the course of a couple days. If it stays the same then it is done.
