This is an exercise in simplicity.
11lbs Marris Otter
1 lb Crystal 20L
1 lb roasted barley
2 oz Goldings hops (first wort)
2 oz Fuggles @ 10 minutes
1 pkg Nottingham yeast
Mash at 152 F for 1 hour
Sparge in your usual way to collect ~ 7 gallons
add Goldings and bring to a boil
boil for 1 hour...
