so copper transfers heat a little better , well that all care about .. why pay more for stainless steal if it transfer heat a little less and cost more.

hey all i was just wondering wich is better stainless steal wort chiller or copper? cause im looking at grabbing a 50foot wort chiller for my new 10gallon stainless steal stock pot i just bought because its way to big to put in the sink for a ice bath.

ok I got a batch of hard cider that has been sitting in the carboy sense early November. Im going to be moving it to a secondary carboy and add honey. yes the cider was preserve free, as for the 1.05 1.07 that was from different batches sorry should have been more clear on that.

hey all ive had my hard cider fermenting for a little over 3 weeks now and I just took a gravity reading and I got my readings between 1.05 and 1.07.. Now after three weeks I would have thought it would have been lower then that..does that sound right? or should I be thinking about doing a 2nd...
