OK thanks, I'll add the insulation from top to bottem of the tower.

I'm building a draft tower from 3" PVC pipe based on the plans from BYO mag. The pipe wall is 1/4" thick. I'll be running a cooling fan hose up into the tower. Just wondering if I can get away without insulating the pipe based on its thickness.

At first glance, it looks and smells good, so I think I'll just let it go for another 2 days or so and then check the gravity. Thanks for your comments.

This is my first kick at kegging. Has anyone recently perchased a mini-fridge from Menards or Lowes that will fit a typical single keg setup? I'm a bit paranoid about getting stuck with a fridge that has cooling lines running along the top wall where the draft tower hole will be drilled.
