Would this tubing be appropriate for use from pot to new plate chiller? Would be used with soon to be ordered new ss qds.

Brand new Platinum-cured Silicone tubing sold by the foot

Made by Cole parmer. Item # 95803-24

ID: 0.5", OD 0.771", Wall: 0.1355"

The temperature range of this tubing is -60 - 460F.
It is FDA-approved for food and beverage use.

Thanks

That's high quality stuff....not sure about that thickness but all silicone will kink if you don't use some kind of strain relief like a 90 degree QD. If you found a deal (cheaper than the online HB suppliers), I'd get it....platinum cured is lab quality.

Thanks for the reply.
Kinda got hosed a bit on the shipping, so it was 2.50 a ft w/ shipping all the way from NC to VA.
Still in the realm of decent deal if it's good quality, I hope.

Keep an eye on ebay for the stuff... I bought some of the same exact spec you listed for $.38/ft shipped! Haven't seen any more 1/2" lately, but just something to keep in mind.
