Would rye and chile flavors combine well?

Thinking about making a chile beer. Also want to use rye again (tried it once with rye ipa and it was great!). Anybody think these two flavors would combine well? I feel like they would, but can't quite put my finger on why.

I'm gonna take that as a "yes".

I think so. Rye lends a sort of peppery spiciness. It would go well with chiles, IMO.
