Hi! Wondering if someone with wiring experience can help me.... I bought equipment to make a stir plate from another website before realising their instructions were way too vague. I have,

1 fan, red + black wires
1 potentiometer, 3 connetions
1 on/off switch, 2 connections
1 female adapter for power supply, 3 connections
1 led for aesthetics, red + yellow wires

I was able to get the fan going just using the dc adapter and the on/off witch but the fan was too fast, I need to get that potentiometer hooked in but cant figure out the configuration. Any help much appreciated :)

David.

Hook-up should look something like this:

You can connect the anode of your LED to the connection between the switch and the rheostat and the cathode to the run between the fan and the socket...

Cheers!
