Winging it 1 gallon recipe ????

I have a pound of light dme and some Ahtanum pellet hops laying around. Thinking about making a quick and easy blonde or cream ale out of it. I'm in the process of filling out an order to morebeer and need a couple bucks to get the free shipping. What would be speciality steeping grain to use with something like this. Also should I use those hops I have or spend a few bucks and get something else. Thanks!!!

If you have enough of the Ahtanum hops I say go for a simple pale ale. You can make a good pale ale with just the DME and the hops, but you can never go wrong adding some light crystal malts as well (Crystal 10-20). Happy brewing!

Thinking about going with crystal 15. Would that give me a nice golden light ale? Also would 1 oz be ok
