white slick

what is the white slick on top of my beer? I think it might be hop oils. does anybody have any ideas?

What stage is your beer in/how long has it been in the fermentor etc? White slick - look like this:

Could be any number of things. A pellicle on the beer looks different than a krausen. Snap a pic and post it if you can.
