Indy has a pretty reasonable and accessible craft scene. For drinking, I recommend 20 Tap. They have 38 taps of craft beer all the time. Rotates (almost) daily. They are here: https://goo.gl/maps/GRysF

They also brew on site.. Another place is Hopcat just up the street. The (allegedly) have 120 taps but they're often out of about 20. Im not a fan as I dont think they take care of their beer lines.

A couple breweries to check out:

Downtown:
Flat 12
Tow Yard
St. Joseph (about a month old)
Sunking

North / North East:
Broad Ripple Brewpub (oldest in Indiana)
20 Below (in the basement of 20 tap)
Triton ( at Ft. Harrison)
Bier (Probaby my favorite)

The indy area is pretty big but there are some good places at all points around the town. Not listed yet is Daredevil on the west side not far from the speedway and mashcraft on the south side. There is also taxman on the way south side.

There is also my house on the west side but the pipeline is dry right now. I hope to fix that in the next few weeks.
