So I have a wheat beer coming up on my honey-brew list.
And I have this box of Wheatena, where the ingredients read as follows:
"Toasted crushed whole wheat,
wheat bran,
wheat germ,
and calcium carbonate"
So can I brew with this stuff? and save myself a trip to the supply shop?

Guys you must be able to brew with this stuff.
I just tried a bowl of it for breakfast.
It tastes like I'm eating out of a mash tun,
like I'm tasting brewing ingredients not cereal.

It did happen, and it worked!
I used it in weights similar to any other unmalted wheat.
The only downfall, the tiny granules turn mash in to paste, and make the sparge a bear.
But the beer was tasty!
