I want to make an IPA to be ready to be served at a party on May 19th. I know that doesn't give me much time, so I was wondering what yeast I should use that will get the job done and clean up as fast as possible. The LBHS I will be buying my yeast from only carries Wyeast. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I think youre fine to use your yeast of choice as long as youre kegging. There won't be time if youre bottling. You should be able to primary til a week or so before and then keg. Personally I like 1056 for american ipas.

I think 1272 flocculates better than 1056, so might be better for a quick beer.
