My last batch got infected. I know exactly where and how it happened. My issue is that it was in my primary fermenter, and the infected beer touched everything (siphon, hose, glass carboy, etc.), which brings me to my question. I am brewing again this weekend (a Red IPA that I would be devastated if it was infected as well), with the same equipment. Is there anything I can do, besides clean everything extremely well and use star san to ensure I've wiped everything out? I've heard about using chlorine or oxiclean, any insight would help.

I'd clean everything with PBW, then soak it in PBW. Then soak everything in Star San for at least a few minutes. Should take care of everything.
