I need a little help from the wine making community. I have a small homebrew shop out in Yuma, Arizona and I am beginning to get many new faces into the shop that make wine. Many of these great people make their wine from scratch and I am uneducated on what sort of chemicals/minerals/processing aids, etc that I should be carrying.

I would be very grateful if I could get some replies to this thread with items that you that think I should keep in stock. Also, could you just list a short description of what the item does?

You likely won't be able to get a thorough and detailed enough list of what you need by asking for readers to post their thoughts. I suggest you look at the offerings from other online wine supply vendors to piece together what you will want to stock.

I am a social scientist not a marketer but I would think that if you simply copy what others provide you likely end up being a poor imitation of them rather than the best version of what you could be. Why not spend a few weeks /months a) reading a few wine making /mead making books and then b) making a few batches of your own wine to see what you must have / what you want/ what you would love to have if you could find it etc and use your own experience to shape what you sell?
Never use them myself, but you might start off by making wines from kits (kits are not viewed by wine makers in the same way that brewers view extracts - )
