Right now I work in the ER as a tech at one of Boston's crazy hospitals.
I am in school for nursing. Thinking about taking the fire fighters exam.

Auto-cad Tech and field surveyor for a survey and enginering company

My job doesn't really fit into any of the drop down lists on the surveys. My employer is a large telecom consulting and software company. I consult with phone companies about their network management information infrastructure and make suggested changes. I have to help relative laymen understand complex telephony. Mostly I sit in front of this computer and answer my phone when it rings. Glorified tech support.

I am a "PC Administrator" which is fancy talk for Desktop Support. Really though it is a little more than typical desktop because I do both tier I and tier II support, and I even dabble on the servers a bit. Our IT group is small so we don't escalate; if a PC is not working, I make it work.

Do you put people on hold for yourself?
You: Hmm, that is a troubling problem, let me transfer you up to tier II support.
Them: thanks
(Hold music while you read HBT).... 5 minutes later
You: This is tier II tech support, what seems to be the problem.
Them: wait, what?

I'm really an award winning master brewer scouring homebrewing forums looking for someone to take over my business so I can retire and homebrew.

Reality check: I'm in the Navy. Either I'm out to sea on a windowless submarine, or I'm on shore duty working in a windowless office.

I'm a porn star....

Hahaha, not that would be hilarious though.

No, we are just a small dept. I am really the only one who does support. If something is really FUBAR'd and I can't figure it out, I can fall back on the network admin, but really if a user needs help, I find a way to get them fixed. We don't really even have "tiers" here.

My 'official' title is Network Security Engineer. But I am more of a jack of all trades. I service all of our network printers, various computer problems, backups etc. Oh yeah, and I get to play 'big brother' and monitor the internet and other users. (For a school division)
My part time (fun) job is Emceeing and Commentating for mixed martial arts events.
